SPF- Be Smart with your Sunny Days!

The use of SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is simple: Sun exposure causes Cancer! Using a sunscreen will protect you from the harmful effects of Sun including sunstroke, sunburn, and premature aging.

A SPF of 15 should be the minimum used all year round. Always practice Safe Sun by:

*Applying your sunscreen at least 20 minutes before going out.

* Re-apply frequently if your enjoying any outdoor activities.

* Try to stay in the shade when the sun is at its strongest usually between 11am and 3pm

* Drink lots of water to prevent dehydration.

Don't be fooled to think that your getting your best coverage just because SPF is integrated into another product. Use a separate SPF to get full coverage.

It is best not to skimp on applying SPF and don't neglect those areas like the back of your neck and ears. Take extra care in and around the beach and pool because water reflects the sun's rays!

Have a great Summer!
